At Will

Lately I have pondered and appreciated the thought of a garden growing “at will. “  And while I love a planned and cultivated formal garden as much as the next person, I also really love gardens planted and tended, but for the most part left to grow at wI’ll. I love how the plants overlap, how small surprise flowers are hidden behind bigger ones, how flowers go to seed in the fall and spring brings the unexpected new growth from that fall seed. The garden begins to take on a new shape, evolving with the seasons and growing freely. And I believe we can find beauty in our honest and free humanity (and womanhood) in the same way, letting our unique beauty grow at will
